ABOUT THE MD100

The dwelling, dubbed the MD100, was designed by Edgar Blazona several years ago for my beloved ReadyMade magazine. Attempting to create a 10×10 structure that could be assembled with $1,000 of standard materials from Home Depot, Blazona fell just short of the cost cap and ended up designing a structure with a $1,500 price point (still incredibly affordable).

ABOUT US

We are a team of two, married for four years. We share our home with two pups and three cats. Professionally, Ashley is a medical editor and Jason is a video editor. Our home is in downtown Frederick, MD, about 45 minutes outside of Washington, DC and we have been here for almost five years. In that time, we’ve turned our house upside down with renovations.

      Hi Edgar! We’re all finished. I’ll take photos this weekend and send them over to you. It looks pretty fantastic, especially after my husband got his hands on it and gave it air conditioning, a 90-inch projector screen, cable, WiFi, and surround sound… 🙂

    Hi Asheley and Jason. I love your blog, and how the dwelling turned out. Beautiful! I really want to build one, so it can be used as an art studio and sometimes a guest house. I ecpent over an hour in the Internet yesterday trying to find the plan, and it seems that is completely gone. I’m wondering if you still have it and if you would be willing to share it with me.
